Telephone Equipment Distribution Program

The Telephone Equipment Distribution (TED) Program provides special amplified phones (corded and cordless), telephone ring signalers, captioned telephones, hands-free speakerphones, TTY’s, voice amplified phones, deaf blind equipment and other special telephone accessories to Minnesota residents of all ages at no charge. Sponsored by the Minnesota Department of Human Services, the program assists residents who may have hearing loss, speech problems or other physical disabilities that may restrict their ability to use a standard telephone.

National Do Not Call Registry

The National Do Not Call Registry makes it easy for you to eliminate unwanted telemarketing calls. Register online at www.donotcall.gov or call toll-free, 888-382-1222 (TTY 866-290-4236), from the number you wish to register. Registration is free.

Please note: Placing your number on the registry will stop most, but not all, telemarketing calls.
